You’re Getting Married…When?
The Wedding was 6 weeks away when we started preparing for their ‘Big Day’!
Niki and Hunter originally were thinking about a Big Traditional Wedding.
The pressure of making so many decisions and not knowing where to begin was overwhelming to the couple.
They decided to ditch the Big Wedding and get married at the Courthouse…in 6 weeks!!
Niki still wanted to wear a wedding gown, so ‘Jodi the Expert’ was called to Service!
We started with Hunter.
I had previously connected with a local Men's Clothier.
During Hunter’s private appointment, we found the perfect suit that includes a dress shirt, tie and shoes. He’ll have his final fitting a week before the wedding.
I’ll be there to make sure that everything looks great!
Next was Niki the Bride.
She thought she had an idea of what she wanted to wear, but that vision evolved as she tried on different gowns.(It happens all the time!)
At our second Bridal Boutique appointment, Niki found ‘The Dress’.
Since the wedding is only weeks away, the gown had to be purchased ‘Off the Rack’. It will take 2 fittings for alterations to make it fit her perfectly.
Luckily, the boutique was able to accommodate getting the work done in time.
Once again, I will be there at her final fitting to make sure that her dress fits her like a Queen.
Thankfully, we were able to accomplish all this in ONE weekend!
A few takeaways for anyone going through the Wedding process….
Niki bought her dress ‘Off the Rack’, which saved her hundreds of dollars.
”Simple” is less complicated and stress-free, as far as Big Wedding planning is concerned.
