What’s underneath?
When you’re getting dressed every day, do you even notice how your bra and panties fit? When was the last time that you updated your bra? Are your undergarments stretched out and faded? If so, it’s time to go shopping!
Let’s look at how your bra fits. When you look in the mirror, are your breasts lifted or sagging? The more endowed you are, the more this is an issue. The larger girls need bras with wider straps so that they don’t create ‘dents’ on their shoulders. The dents will show through when you wear a knit or fitted top. The wider straps will help support ‘the girls’ in a more upright position!
Don’t forget to look at your back too! ‘Back fat’ from a bra that is too tight around the base creates this unattractive appearance.
Also, make sure that the sheerness of the bra cup doesn’t create a nipple peeking effect. This effect happens when worn under thin and sheer fabric tops. It’s definitely a distraction…and not in a good way!
Underpants should fit without creating lines under dresses, skirts or pants. Thongs are best for a no- lines-seen look. Make sure that the hips and abdomen are seamless too. Lace edges, instead of elastic, is definitely more forgiving in those areas.
Panty lines in bikini and high-waisted panties also need to be considered. Again, look at all the edges when wearing clothes to make sure that you look your best underneath.
If you’re not sure where to begin in finding the best fit for you, ask a professional bra and undergarment specialist. You can usual find them in large departments stores and specialty shops.
